We’re excited to announce our next session of comics classes at Little Island, which will start in January!
Instructor Megan Kearney will be back, leading students through the steps of comics-creation, from character design to page layouts. Students will learn techniques like pencilling and inking, and they’ll be introduced to screen tones and working with art markers.
This semester, we’re also going to be focusing on completing a comic story in the view to eventually creating an anthology of the kids’ work!
Classes are targeted at 10- to 14-year-olds, but we do accept younger kids! (Contact us for details.)
