Our Saturday regulars know very well that every Saturday between noon and 3pm kids are welcome to drop by Little Island to make their own comics masterpieces, either to take home or to display in the store. But on Saturday, April 14th, author Peyton Leung and his brother, illustrator Hilary Leung (of Ninja Cowboy Bear fame!) are joining us for something a little different. Their newest picture book, The Pirate Girl’s Treasure, is a pirate adventure story told through origami. For this special edition of our Saturday art activities, Hilary and Peyton will lead us on our own origami adventures! Kids who love origami, kids who love pirates, kids who love pirate origami should not miss this event!
Saturday, April 14th, 12pm – 3pm Kids Making Comics – Special Edition: The Pirate Girl’s Treasure Origami Activities with Peyton and Hilary Leung! Little Island Comics, 742 Bathurst St, Toronto Free to Attend. Pirate Adventure will be provided.
